I've Lost My Touch

I am in Utah again, this time tending 3 darling grandchildren. Brother Knowles is teaching the Tuesday night class again. Thank you Brother Knowles. For those of you that attended the Worldwide Leadership Broadcast on Saturday, you may remember that we were told "family first" so I am doing that. There were several other interesting things relating to creating a family--appopriate for singles to consider, and raising a righteous posterity--what you do after you have married.
I have only been on duty for a half a day, but I realize I am not the mother I once was. The little kids have me a bit rattled. I just put my cell phone through the wash and I think I got free groceries at Harmans (I don't think the free groceries will balance out the cost of a new cell phone). I thought it would be fun to self-scan my items with the help of my two grandsons. Needless to say that was a jolly bit of chaos. I ran my credit card, pushed ok, went to the counter to sign and show my ID and then no one could find any proof that I have scanned 20plus items and the store couldn't recreate it, etc etc etc. The store finally just said, "It's our fault and we don't want you to be charged twice, so take your groceries (and grandchildren) and go on your way." So nice, but I realize I have lost my touch. Now I am just another confused grandma. Scary.
I look forward to seeing the class next week.

Holly - you're great, as always! This is Liz Hardy, I got here accidentally. I'm trying to stay up and support my husband while he packs for Klondike and I found you! Glad you've joined the scary grandma club - it's a great place to be!
