We are now in the section of the Book of Mormon that deals with war. You might find it interesting to read from the Encyclopedia of Mormonism on the topic "Military and the Church." Go to www.lib.byu.edu/macmillan/ and from there look up the article by Daniel H. Ludlow. In addition, you may recall and wish to read the talk President Hinckley gave in April 2003 http://lds.org/conference/talk/display/0,5232,23-1-353-27,00.html entitled "War and Peace."
